There is no better way to start a day than with a healthy food. Breakfast is (sort of) the most important meal of the day, and you should have it like royalty.
After all, it is supposed to keep you energetic, positive, and in good spirits the entire day. So there is no harm!
Dosa, Upma, and milkshakes are all very good breakfast recipes in millets options that help you start your day with full power.

Millet is a beneficial whole grain and, according to MayoClinic.com, it can help regulate blood pressure and improve heart health.
Breakfast recipes in millets
Little Millet Upma/Samai Upma/Millet Recipes is a wholesome breakfast or dinner dish that can be made with just a few ingredients in less than 30 minutes on a stovetop pot or Instant Pot pressure cooker.
This recipe can be made for breakfast as well as for dinner. The variations are endless and the addition of vegetables adds nutrition as well as color.
I have made a few breakfast recipes in millets such as Pongal, Bisibelebath, Little millet lemon rice, Bajra(Pearl Millet) Khichdi, Kodo Millet Pulao, dosa. But there are a lot of recipes to make with these wonder grains.
I have shared both stovetop pot and Instant Pot (pressure cooker) methods of making Millet Upma below.
Eat it like rice, with curry or chutney as a side dish. You can use millet to make fried rice, lemon rice, salad, porridge, and many more.
Like all other grains, pulses, and plant seeds, Millets also contain phytic acid. Phytic acid is an anti-nutrient that impairs mineral absorption from foods. Soaking, sprouting, and fermenting will remove this phytic acid and makes nutrients from these foods bio-available. So I always soak millets before cooking. Unsoaked millets take more water and time to cook.
It depends on the cooking method, but millet can be cooked in under 20 minutes using any technique. Check the recipe card on all modes of cooking.
